in deep
Scorpio
For people who go deep. A cool ivory page printed in obsidian and garnet on a blood-burgundy desk, like a notebook kept in a drawer of its own: the day in an arch with three lines of tide at its foot, a steel star for what's done, and a voice note that plays from a keyhole, drawn as the tide. What you keep goes up as engraved posters: a serpent swallowing its tail round your words, cipher wheels and daguerreotype cases, and your photos stay whole.
Free while Haumm is in early access. After that, every journal has White and Night, the paid year adds three looks you choose, and more are a few dollars each, yours to keep. You can try any look on your own pages first.

and dark
Scorpio, dark
The same page in black cherry, for three in the morning: soft white words, pale orchid for the date, and the arch, the stars and the keyhole in steel. The same scorpion and the same tide, and the same wall in Commonplace.

A page like a notebook kept in a drawer of its own.
(one page, in the app.)
A page in Scorpio, drawn by the Haumm app with a made-up journal, and what makes it Scorpio.
- 1
The day in an arch
The date in an arch: the weekday over the day, the month and year under it, Scorpio's sign at its top and three lines of tide at its foot. On a computer, the sign and a star start the title's rule.
- 2
Lists ruled in steel
Each list an ivory card ruled twice in steel grey, its mark a small keyhole.
- 3
A star for what's done
Done ticks turn into steel four-point stars, so a good week of habits fills with them.
- 4
The tide
A voice note plays from a keyhole, and its own levels are drawn as four lines of tide, swelling as the note was loud.

What you keep, kept close.
(one wall for both.)
Keep a line, a photo or a voice note and it comes back as one of twelve engraved posters, printed in one or two inks on old paper: a tarot card, the day's sun and moon, an old magazine's cover, a fortune card's border (it tells the date, never a fortune), an engraving's plate, a sheet of stamps, a star card, a voice note's rays or clouds; and Scorpio's own, an ouroboros round your words, a cipher wheel turned by the day of the year, and a photo in a daguerreotype's case. Many show their day's sky, worked out from the date. Never a horoscope or a reading. Photos stay whole. Re-roll for another. With Posters off, each piece is a card ruled in gold.
