Yes. Import brings in years of writing from Word or Google Docs, so you're not starting your journaling life over just because you switched tools.

Can I get my writing back out?
Yes — export any entry as Word, PDF, or plain text, or print it. Your writing is never locked in.

Do I have to use the AI companion?
No. It's an optional add-on, not the core experience — Haumm is a full journal without it, and it's still being built.

Base gets you your journal, Insights, Habit Builder, and the commonplace book. Plus adds the AI companion on top. Everything else is identical.
